It seams sometimes that sky is falling and things go wrong and nothing seams to work so you feel like giving up.
And sometimes it feels like it every day! And that’s ok! Give yourself the luxury to feel ok about it. No! You are not giving up, but today it feels just like giving up. So give up for a day or two or 3, but don’t give up long term. It’s a little mindset shift that helps you to stay on track.
This mind tool can give you increasingly liberating feeling and staying power. It’s ok to give up for a day or few days. Everyone does it. Everyone! Including yours truly Bald Superman! Yes that would be me.
I give up every week for few days. I had a massive failure day yesterday. Massive, big crush to the wall failure yesterday. I doesn’t really matter how I failed. It doesn’t matter! Those failures are always different. And I just gave up for the rest of the day.
But now it’s morning after my give up day. It’s 6 AM and I feel good. Today is the day I’ll crush it again. The reason I feel like it and I’m 100% positive I will crush it today is, because I gave myself a permission to give up yesterday.
To give up without really giving up. That’s the right way to give up. It’s a powerful tool in your mindset tool box. And I urge you my fellow going bald or not so bald man to acquire it.
Try to learn from your failures and reasons why you gave up. But even if you can’t, it’s all good. Let it be. Just give up for the day.
Life is a marathon, not a sprint and long term matters much more than short term. Especially in this short term mindset thinking modern world. They will tell you to “Never give up!” Wrong advice that doesn’t work. I say give up today, lie back and don’t worry about anything for today or few days. Try it. Try it now! Go ahead and give up.
