Hey Milan, I have to say that this is my favorite video of yours, and that says something! Incredibly funny!
I am definitely feeling more comfortable with baldness since discovering your website, but sometimes I see something that bums me out. It is when I happen upon some sort of discussion about bald guys on the internet and a lot of people say how it make you look 10 years older, or automatically 60. I have not experienced this to be true at all in my own life, but for some reason seeing these comments get me really down.
For example, there was this picture of Patrick Stewart joking about how he has not aged in the last 25 years: http://www.reddit.com/r/funny/comments/2fd2i8/stephen_colbert_attempts_to_determine_patrick/
Many of the comments say that the only reason that he hasn’t changed is because he was bald young and always looked old. I think he does legitimately look good for an old guy, but the only thing that people seem to see is the baldness. Another example that you may know of is Arjen Robin, from the Dutch Wrold Cup team. He is 30, in amazing pro football shape and totally bald, but I saw a number of comments that he looked 45 or even 60.
I know that it is ridiculous that people’s comments on the internet would make me upset, but I guess it is because I feel like it is revealing their true thoughts. In my daily I am pretty much always identified as being around my age by others and people almost never say anything negative about my bald head, but how can I know their true thoughts? Of course I am making a big deal out of nothing and filtering out the most negative comments, but even realizing this doesn’t lift my sorrow.
Do you have any thoughts on this? I was feeling great and suddenly seeing this completely ruined my mood. I know that it is ridiculous to think that being bald automatically makes you 45-60 and it is probably cocky guys trying to feel better about not being bald, but still I think there is some truth to what they are saying.

Thank you Boris. Yes, I like to have some fun with this project of mine: Bald Attraction. And I am glad you like it!
Regarding bald and looking old, I have exactly the opposite experience. I am almost 38 now, and people always guess late 20ties early 30ties to me.
I believe, you can look old bald – if you’re out of shape, eat crappy food, have lot of stress and no fun in your life. That will certainly do it. But otherwise I think bald men age the same as men with hair. It’s not about baldness. It’s about the skin, great shape, vibrant energy, positive outlook in life and having fun. Opposite of that is old.
Funny you mentioned Arjen Robin Boris. I love that guy! He is an incredible football player! Interestingly some of my girlfriends, very good looking once considered him as the most atractive guy on World Cup. Why? You can only guess. But that guy possesses some and maybe all Attractive Bald Mans qualities!
Boris, regarding the Internet forums, I would stay away from them. I was advised to do that from my sons doctor. And boy was he right. For example recent more frequent puking of my son led me to google it and subsequently reading a horror stories about what everything is wrong with him. Keeping me totally paranoid about him even making it. Next day he was absolutely fine.
Interned forums are polluted with people who like to exaggerate things, like to talk sensations, and talk bad about especially good looking successful people. Don’t listen. Reality is very, very, very different than hiding behind the screens. These people who are saying that bald is old have their own issues. They’re most likely very ugly themselves and it makes them feel good to see a man with still maybe socially unacceptable baldness. We totally crush them, and Arjen Robin is doing it very well, when they see that the bald guy is more attractive then them and very successful. Again, hiding behind the screens, eating chips, getting fat in their pajamas and thinking they have something to say. Ha! The best revenge to them Boris is to totally ignore them. That’s my point of view on this topic.

This is a perfect response, thank you Milan! All of my negative thinking over the years has created some really twisted views in my head. I fixate on baldness as the source of all aging and trivialize the things that really matter – as you say “It’s about the skin, great shape, vibrant energy, positive outlook in life and having fun. Opposite of that is old.”
You are definitely right about the types of people that post negative things on internet forms – thank you for reminding me! There is so much negative energy out there, it can be difficult to remember that most people who write it are losers when it is so easy to sound mighty behind a keyboard. I actually tried to convince some very, very miserable young bald guys on a hair loss crying forum right before finding this website that baldness is not that bad, and man did they drag me down. I got caught up in their negativity, despite the fact that their beliefs were completely ridiculous my mood was ruined for a few days. I avoid such websites like the plague since then. This recent one I happened upon randomly, but I will definitely be more vigilant about avoiding negative areas of the internet going forward.
I like the idea of crushing the anti baldness beliefs a lot – it is much better than getting sad about them for sure! I am sure that Arjen Robin could not care less about what people on the internet think about him. In fact he probably does not even have any more haters than any other footballer or celebrity.
Thank you again Milan, you have completely changed my mind about this whole topic!
