Which of course will most likely not happen. Because, you are confident, you are not desperate and you are relaxed. And for some pervert reason even those biggest jerk bosses tent to smell it and respect it. So, give yourself a chance and a big favor here. Don’t live paycheck to paycheck. Save some of it from every paycheck. And build some confidence building reserves.

If you are buried in debt and you live paycheck to paycheck, other people can smell that desperation. Don’t let that happen to you! Don’t destroy your natural confidence you already have. In opposite of that, I for example enjoy raises and respect, longer vacation time from my boss. Why? He knows, that I am not desperate. How does he know that.
